Friends are close, however family is closer to you. Family is the closest thing you have, without your family, there will be no you. Getting along with your family is important as they will be the first to help you whenever you are in need, thus spending time with your family is important. During the time you spend with them, you can share your problems with them and they would try to help solve your problems. Every moment spent with my family is unique but when it was my uncle's birthday, the time spent is truly special.
My uncle and his family including my cousin migrated to Beijing(China) when i was 6. They came back once every year for Chinese New Year, however it was the December holidays when he came back. My grandmother undergo an operation which involves the nerves thus it was a huge operation. My uncle came back to accompany my grandmother and at the same time to visit his friends and relatives. Coincidently, My uncle's birthday was on one of the day he came back. My family decided to bring him for dinner after visiting my grandmother at the hospital.
We went to this traditional Japanese restaurant at a hotel, we got to sit on the floor with only a pillow underneath our legs. The food there was amazing, nothing as delicious as this in the world. The raw fish was so tender and juicy that with one bite, the cold juice filled my mouth. The Tempura (deep fried prawns) was so crispy and the prawns were fresh! My favorite would be the burnt salmon belly. The belly of the salmon is the best! The salmon belly would be burnt to an extent that the outer layer turns slightly black, when it is in your mouth, its crispy and tender at the same time, how amazing is that ?! The soup served there has an extremely fragrant that can be smelled miles away! The food there is just incredible!! When we were eating, we found out more about my uncle. We realized that he stopped work for a period of time to rest and that my cousin who is in england studying fashion is not coming back for Chinese New Year. My aunt was moved to Hong Kong for a period of time as she found a job there. He also got to know my family's situation better and he also shared some of his experience which were quite humorous. My uncle is a very funny and serious person, spending time with him is fun and educational. Finally, the final and most important part of a birthday, the birthday cake. It was actually made of sushi !! The chef specially made a sushi cake for my uncle, although it was small, it was creative and delicious !!
I really enjoyed my time spent with my uncle and my family, it was a really special time for me, we could discuss about our future plans and also think back about the past, how we have changed. Hopefully, I would be able to spend more time with my family in the near future and always stay in touch with them. I LOVE MY FAMILY !

Post 4 ! Something unusual that happened that day..
Gays and Lesbians are the very small percentage of human beings that exists in the world. The Terms gay and lesbian are used in reference to homosexuality. Its is used to describe people attracted to members of the same sex. However, the numbers of gays and lesbians are slowly increasing, in the near future, it will become very common. To witness people at my age who are gays or lesbians would be quite unusual, people who are in a non-mixed school has a higher chance of becoming a gay or lesbian as they are always together with people of the same sex. Today while heading home from school I witnessed 2 Lesbians.
Humid day it has been, the big and hot sun shining non-stop the whole day. The sweat rolled in drops down my forehead while I flagged down the 76 bus down. When the doors of the bus opened, the cold air rushed out of the bus, cooling me down. I got onto the bus and found a perfect seat where I can get off the bus easily as it was the peak hour, if I chose somewhere far away from the exit, I would have difficulty getting off the bus. I turned the air con away from me, afraid that I would get sick. Time passes as I get comfortable on my seat, the bus stopped in front of a school ( not mentioned)and a couple of students got up the bus. However, there were 2 girls in uniform which caught my eye, one of them was putting her hand over the other girl's shoulder, this wasn't the only reason I noticed them. When they sat down, they sat so close to each other that there was almost half a seat empty, suddenly the girl on the right turned her head and looked straight into the other girls eye and they started making out. In my mind, I thought to myself, gross, horrible, they shouldn't be doing this in a public place. They were not only embarrassing themselves but also disgracing their school. However, I have no right to insult them as they have human rights, some of them are born like that, they had no choice. But something funny happened, suddenly both of them started a " cold war", neither of them said anything and they were moving away from each other.
Suddenly, the girl on the left turned back and said something about not making the mistake again and hope she would forgive her. After hearing all that, I had goose bumps, but I was happy to see them back again however, it doesn't mean I support people to become gays or lesbians. If everyone becomes a gay or lesbian, there would be a lesser population of people, this would effect the later generation. Hopefully people would decide their future carefully and think about the future generations. This was certainly a unusual experience for me.

Post 3 ! A Moment Spent Alone Doing Something You Enjoy..
There are many sports in the world, soccer, tennis, volleyball and many many more.Sport is an activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively. Sports commonly refers to activities where the physical capabilities are put to the test. The mind of the human being is also tested in sports. A sportsman/sportswomen with great skills can perform, but with a strong mind, he or she can perform even better!! Sports are most often played just for fun or for the simple fact that people need exercise to stay in good physical condition. Swimming is a form of sport, its a very common sport which is being picked up by many people in the world. Swimming is something that is enjoy doing alone.
I took up swimming when i was 5 years old, it was the first sport I ever learnt in my life. However, I stopped learning when i moved house, but I still continued to swim even until now. Swimming is something relaxing which calms my mind down. When I swim, its peaceful, quiet, I can think and reflect about my studies, life, mistakes, etc. I can think about my mistakes, and try to think of a solution to solve it. I take swimming as a recreational activity and not as a competitive sport. While reflecting on the events that are happening in my life, my body is exercising and growing stronger, which is a good thing as this part of my life is when i grow taller and bigger size. However, i have a habit of going to the swimming pool only when there is no one there,as the whole pool is mine and my mind will be concentrating better when there is no one who would bother me.
Swimming in a good weather such as on a sunny day is a wonderful feeling that cannot be described by mere words. The cold and wet feeling you get when u step into the swimming pool is just incredible. Admiring the beautiful and breath-taking scenery while swimming calms me and allows me to think about the past, the last time i saw such a amazing scenery and comparing myself(now) to the past, how i have changed and how much i have grown and improved. Swimming is just something unexplainable, it has contributed quite a lot to my life, without swimming i guess i wont be myself(now), i wont be able to reflect on my mistakes. All thanks to swimming, I have grown so much since young. Thank You Swimming ! I will continue to enjoy this activity alone all my life.

Post 2 ! A Problem You Encounted And How You Solved Or Managed It..
No matter which school you come from, what subjects you take, students would all hate examination(or exams for short). In an academic context, examinations are tests which aim to determine the ability of a student. Everyone gets so stressed and nervous when the peak period ( exam period) arrives. Students gets stress because of the pressure that their parents and teachers give. Competition between students maybe another reason why students pressure themselves to do better. Even I have this problem, wanting to do well in my exams, making my parents and teachers proud of me and the great feeling i get when i realize that i scored better than my peers.
Its the time of the year again. Exams are round the corner, its time to get serious and start revising my work. When the exams are approaching, teachers normally stop teaching new chapters and start revising with his or her students. Revision papers starts filling up in my school bag, last minute notes are given out from the teachers, with all this rolling in to my life, the pressure builds up and i get so stressed up and no one in class bothers about me as they are too busy studying for the exams. No one to turn to, pressure builds up slowly every single day till the exams arrive.
Maths, one of the most complicated subject, comprises far more formulas, techniques etc. than any other subject. However, my main problem is the working which we use to arrive at our answer. Careless mistakes are the most stupid and unnecessary mistakes that can be made. I memorized these formulas and techniques but i keep making careless mistakes, its very frustrating. I will get so worried that i will make careless mistakes on the day of the exam. I will try to calm myself down, try to relax and not think about it for a short period of time, maybe taking a bath or a short nap. After resting, I will take out an exercise book and start practicing my workings. Practice makes perfect, however the more i did, the more mistakes i made. I presume it was because i did the questions in a rush. I realized my mistake and started to focus and did my sums slowly. It worked ! I was delighted, and continued practicing.
The day before the exam, i heeded my sister's advice not to do any maths sums.At night, i toss and turn on my bed, worried about tomorrows exam. On the day of the exam, i find the questions familiar as i had revised them over and over again days ago. I did my workings carefully, avoiding any mistakes. I finished the exam with ample time to check and I was quite confident of my answers.
Before i receive my paper back, i was wandering how i would fair with all the effort i put in. When i received the paper, it stated 68. I was shocked and didn't know what to say, i thought to myself that maybe i was overly confident. However, Kenny, a good friend of mine approached me and flipped my paper. The score changed into 89 marks !! I kept on jumping and continued thanking Kenny over and over again. I didn't know what to say, its the highest mark i have ever gotten in my whole life. i told myself that hard work do pay off. I will continue working hard, and strive to get better grades ! Practicing is my solution!

Post 1 ! Something that took place in school..
Accidents can happen anywhere and anytime. All sorts of accidents happen, such as getting knock down by a car, getting cut by a knife or even tripping on a flat surface! Some accidents are minor but some are serious. Accidents can happen in school, in the office or anywhere in the world. This happened in school during recess,to a classmate of mine, Paul.
As usual, when the recess bell rang, students rushed out of their boring classes and headed straight to different places. Some stayed in class to finish their undone homework, some headed to the canteen to get some delicious food to fill their empty stomach and some headed to the field ready to get sweaty while playing soccer. Paul was under the soccer category, he swallowed his bread in one mouth, drank a couple of sips of milo, got changed and ran down to the field. Paul was an expert at goalkeeping, one of the best in my class. The class started to split into two and everyone got into their respective positions. In a short moment, the game started, everyone was chasing after the ball, except Paul who was busy guarding the goal post.
After 5 minutes, the other team finally got passed the defense and the only person who can stop them is Paul. Paul was deciding whether to stay put or leave the post open to get the ball, before he could do anything, the attacking player got very close to Pual and kicked the ball with all his might. Paul made a desperate lunge towards the ball, however only the tip of his fingers could reach the ball. The ball got into the goal post and the spectators were standing up to clap, praising Karl for his amazing goal . However, everyone was so engrossed with the goal that no one noticed what had happened to Paul. Paul was trying to stop himself from crying but the pain on his finger was just too painful.
Everyone started to notice only when Kevin, the class monitor realize that Paul was crying. Huge drops of tears flowed down Paul's face and perspiration were dripping off his face. He could only mutter a few words which made him sound like a girl. Everyone around him laughed and humiliated him. Kevin scolded the crowd of people and brought Paul to the school's general office. The rest of the people continued commenting about Paul and continued with the soccer game. Paul was sent to the nearest hospital and by then recess had ended.
The class was still gossiping when the class's form teacher came into class and demanded an explanation for what had happened at the field. She felt ashamed of the class's behaviour and banned them from playing soccer for a week. Everyone was embarrassed of what they did and felt that they deserved it. Paul broke his finger and it will take some time for it to heal. Everything comes with a price, always think twice before u do something. Anything can happen in school, we must be careful at any point of time no matter where we are. I hope Paul will recover in the shortest period of time and join us back in class to learn together again. This was what took place in school yesterday.

Trial Post ! My Favourite Website..
In the 21st century, everyone uses the internet.Pupils make use of the internet to do projects and adults use it to work. Most importantly, the internet provides easy communication and good entertainment.Websites such as YouTube and search engines such as Google and Yahoo are well known throughout the world. My favourite website is being used by almost every human being on earth. It is Facebook!Facebook is a social networking website that is operated and privately owned by Facebook, Inc.Users can add friends, send their friends message, update their personal profiles to notify friends about themselves, play games, do quiz's and much more !
In Facebook, you can find your long lost friends, catch up with them and even get to KNOW more about them.Facebook provides entertainment for the young and old, and is now one of the most convenient way to communicate,it is not only fun but also useful. However, there is also disadvantages.Facebook is so entertaining that people will get hooked(addicted) to it.Students especially will waste hours of their precious time on Facebook instead of studying. When you get addicted to something, it is very difficult to not think about it.When you get addicted, you will think of it day and night, always wanting to do it, and will never want to stop, thus when using Facebook, you must be careful not to get addicted, you must practice self-control.Do you remember the time your parents used to say that u should not talk to strangers or you should not to accept gifts from strangers ?Well, in this case, you should not add strangers on Facebook. If someone wants to add you, and you don't know the particular person, just ignore him or her.Your personal information can be found in your profile which can be seen by people who u have added as a friend, thus if u add a stranger who has a bad motive,he can get your personal information from Facebook which would be very dangerous, therefore you must be careful of the people you add on Facebook.
Other than what i mentioned,Facebook is pretty safe.Games such as MouseHunt and Restaurant City are fun,you can even challenge your friends!Fun quiz's are also available, at the end of the day, you can compare your results with your friends.Facebook is a fun yet dangerous website,if you are careful, i am sure you will enjoy it as much as i do!
